Virginia was born on December 19, 1942 in Huntingburg, IN to Marinus and Agnes (Welp) Durcholz. She married Gerald H. Schepers on June 29, 1963 in Precious Blood Catholic Church in Jasper. He preceded her in death on July 27, 2011. Virginia was a homemaker and seamstress. She was a member of St. Celestine Catholic Church and their St. Ann's Society. She was also a member of the Celestine Community Club and the Celestine Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, crocheting, gardening, volunteering at church and spending time with friends and family. Funeral Services for Virginia T. Schepers will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday (November 23, 2015) at St. Celestine Catholic Church in Celestine, Indiana, with burial to follow in St. Celestine Cemetery. Friends may call from Noon to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday (November 22, 2015) at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper, IN.
