Meuser age 64 of Indianapolis, Indiana and formerly of Jasper died at his home at Indianapolis, Indiana on Saturday (September 11, 2004) of a heart condition. Max was born at Princeton, Indiana on December 13, 1939 to Byron and Germaine (Yeager) Meuser. He married Mary Jo Knust on April 18, 1971 at Ferdinand, Indiana. He taught at Ferdinand High School for several years and Vincennes University (Jasper Campus) where he later became Director of Student Services. Max Meuser was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church while living in Jasper where he was very active in the church affairs. Surviving are his wife Mary Jo 2 daughters; Clare Siders, Noblesville, IN Elodie Meuser, Indianapolis, IN 1 son, Jacob Meuser, Eugene, Or 1 grandchild and 2 step-grandchildren. 1 brother, John Meuser, Three Springs, PA 2 sisters, Donna Meuser, Evansville, IN Letitia “Tish” Simpson, Fort Branch, IN Preceding him in death besies his parents are 1 sister, Ann Wilderman . Funeral services for Max B. Meuser will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday (September 15, 2004) in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper with burial to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery at Princeton, Indiana. Friends may call from 3-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Becher - Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper. Memorial contributions may be made in Max’s honor to charity of the donor’s choosing.
