Dateline Jasper; Mary Lou Hohl age 76 of Jasper passed away at 9:20 P.M. Thursday June 2, 2005 at Jasper Memorial Hospital. She was born August 27, 1928 in Jasper to John S. and Christina (Schuetter) Mehringer. She married Frank Hohl Jr. April 6, 1948. He passed away November 29, 2001. She worked for Inwood Office Furniture Factory in Jasper-retired. Memberships include St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Anns Sodality, DAV Auxilliary, and the St. Henry C Kof A. She was an avid Quilter. Surviving: 1 son- Anthony Hohl of Jasper. 3 daughters-Mrs. Michael (Patty) Knust of Brighton, Michigan, Mrs. Jerome (Connie) Werner and Jeanne Hohl both of Jasper. 4 brothers-Robert “Bob”, Norbert “Lace”, William, and Lewis “Dud” Mehringer all of Jasper. 2 sisters-Mrs. Claude (Dorothy) Rees and Leona Seng both of Jasper 6 Grandchildren Preceded in death besides her husband are 4 brothers-Bernard, Eugene, Delmar “Bud” and Alvin “Chebby” Mehringer, 3 sisters-Marcella Mehringer who died in infancy, Helen Mehringer and Virginia Jochem. Visitation will be held from 12:00-8:00 P.M. Monday at the Becher & Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper. There will be a Rosary by St. Joseph Catholic Church and St. Anns Sodality at 3:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held at 9:30 A.M. Tuesday June 7, 2005 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper. Memorial contributions may be made according to the wishes of the family.
