Dateline Jasper: Marvin Humbert age 55 passed away at 5:35 A.M. Friday January 21, 2005 at the Heritage House Nursing Center in Jasper. He was born February 15, 1949 in Jasper to: Lawrence and Bernice (Stemle) Humbert. He was past owner of the Twin Front Tavern in Jasper. Memberships include: Holy Family Catholic Church, Holy Family Holy Name Society, the VFW Post 673, American Legion Post 147, Navy Club, Jasper Outdoor Recreation, Loyal Order of the Moose, Eagles Lodge, 40&8, He was in the Navy serving in Vietnam. Surviving: 1 daughter-Nicki Humbert of Jasper His parents-Lawrence and Bernice Humbert of Jasper 2 brothers-Kenny Humbert of Celestine, and Glenn Humbert of Jasper. 1 Granddaughter-Haven Lashbrook. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. -8:00 P.M. Sunday at the Becher & Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper. There will be a Parish Rosary at 4:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday January 24, 2005 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper with entombment to follow in Fairview Cemetery Mausoleum in Jasper. The VFW Post 673 will conduct military grave side rites. Memorial contributions may be made for masses at Holy Family Catholic Church, or the American Diabetes Association.
