Pfaff age 94 of Ireland, Indiana died at 11:55 p.m. Tuesday (May 18, 2004) at the St. Charles Health Campus in Jasper. She was born on November 12, 1909 at Ireland, Indiana to Egid and Theresia (Mercker) Striegel. She married John E. Pfaff on June 23, 1928 he preceded her in death on December 26, 1995. She was a homemaker and member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the St. Ann’s Society. Surviving are 2 daughters; Marjorie Hinkley, Maumelle, AR Mrs. Tim “Dolores” Curry, Indianapolis, IN 4 sons; Louis Pfaff and Ronald Pfaff both of Ireland, IN Victor Pfaff, Jasper, IN Richard Pfaff, Springville, IN 17 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren 1 half-sister, Juliana Haller, Indianapolis, IN Pre by 1 grandson John Hinkley and her Step-Mother Antoinette Striegel. 2 half brothers, Robert and Daniel Striegel and a half sister Marian Striegel Funeral services for Marie T. Pfaff will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday (May 22, 2004) in St. Mary’s Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 2 – 8 p.m. Friday at the Becher – Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ireland or to a favorite charity.
