Jahn age 87 of St. Anthony, Indiana died at 2:45 a.m. Monday (August 18, 2003) in the St. Charles Health Campus in Jasper. Her memberships include; St. Anthony Catholic Church - Daughters of Isabella - St. Anthony American Legion Auxiliary. She was born at Celestine, Indiana on June 11, 1916. Her Parents; Frank and Julia (Buechler) Schnell. She was married twice; First marriage, Joseph Schuch on June 11, 1935 - he died on March 5, 1957. 2nd marriage to Othmar Jahn on June 20, 1959 - he died on July 18, 1988. Surviving her are her daughter in law; Mrs. Victor ‘Nancy” Teder, Jasper, IN 1 sister; Olivia Botto, Cincinnati, OH 2 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. Preceding her in death besides her husbands are 1 son; Earl Schuch. 3 brothers; Othmar, Ted and Bernard Schnell. 3 sisters; Stella Hasenour, Laura Bieker and Betty Brescher. Funeral services for Loretta M. Jahn will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday (August 21, 2003) in St. Anthony Catholic Church with burial to follow in St. Anthony Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 - 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Becher - Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper. Rosary at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday by the D of I’s. Rosary at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday by members of the St. Anthony American Legion and members of St. Anthony Catholic Church. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony Catholic Church or to a favorite charity.
