She was born at Celestine, Indiana December 15, 1947 to Martin and Lucille (Loechte) Hasenour. She was married to Wilfred Stemle on July 22, 1967. She retired from Wal-Mart in Jasper where she had worked for many years. She is a member of St. Celestine Catholic Church – St. Ann’s Sodality – Celestine Community Club. She enjoys going to the casinos, bingo and an avid card player. Surviving, Husband, Wilfred Stemle Two daughters; Mrs. Darrell (Lisa ) Verkamp, Dubois, IN Mrs. Zach (Jami) Eichmiller, Dubois, IN One son, Ryan Stemle and wife Dawn, Celestine, IN Eight grandchildren, Kelly, Korey, Kassidy, Kasey Verkamp, Ashtyn and Akayla Eichmiller and Camryn and Clayton Stemle. One sister, Mrs. Herbert (Shirley) Schepers, Celestine, In Funeral services for Judy Stemle will be held at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday (June 29, 2011) in St. Celestine Catholic Church with burial to follow in St. Celestine Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Becher & Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Celestine Catholic Church or to a favorite charity.
