Seibert age 89 of Jasper passed away at 10:50 p.m. Tuesday January 6, 2004 at The Northwood Good Samaritan Nursing Center in Jasper. He was born March 17, 1914 in Jasper to: Frank and Emma (Eckert) Seibert. He married Mary C. Wuchner February 3, 1940. She passed April 28, 1998. Memberships include: Holy Family Catholic Church Holy Name Society, Jasper K of C, Ireland Sportsman Club, He received the Silver Beaver Award March 27 1968, 9Which is the highest adult scouting award, and he also received the Brute Award from the Evansville Diocese. He was a Lumber inspecter for the Hoosier Desk Co. in Jasper-retired. Surviving: 1 son Mike and his wife Betty Seibert of Jasper 1 daughter-Mrs. Larry (Marylin) Leinenbach of Terre Haute 5 Grandchildren 5 Great Grandchildren Preceded in death besides his wife is:1 brother-Andy Seibert, and 2 sisters-Louise Mehringer and Caroline Eckert Visitation will be held from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Friday at the Becher & Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper. There will be a Rosary by Holy Family Parish at 6:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Funeral service willbe held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday January 10, 2004 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Jasper with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper.
