Seitz age 86 of rural Loogootee, Indiana died at 5:00 a.m. today (Thursday March 3, 2005) in the Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper. She was born at Crystal, Indiana on April 28, 1918 to George M. and Amelia (Harder) Braun. She married Ralph J. Seitz on January 20, 1940 in St. John’s Lutheran Church at the Dubois Crossroads he preceded her in death on May 24, 1998. She was a homemaker and member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Haysville, Indiana and WELCA of St. Paul’s Church. Surviving are 2 daughters; Mrs. Ralph “Marie” Truelove and Mrs. Don “Alma” Spruell both of Loogootee, IN 1 son, Daniel Seitz, Washington, IN 9 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren 1 sister, Mrs. Verna Goller, Jasper, IN 1 brother, Robert Braun, Swansea, IL Preceding her in death besides her husband is 1 daughter, Marlene Hief and 1 sister Alma Goller and 1 grand daughter. Funeral services for Elsie A. Seitz will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday (March 5, 2005) at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Haysville with burial to follow in St. Paul’s Cemetery. The Rev. Timothy Kramer will officiate. Friends may call from 2 - 8 p.m. Friday at the Becher - Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper and one hour before services at the church. Memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday by WELCA of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church building fund or to a favorite charity.
