Wagner, age 70 of Jasper, died at 12:27 p.m. Wednesday (May 19, 2010) in the Northwood Retirement Community in Jasper. He was born at Fulda, Indiana on October 13, 1939 to Paul and Emma (Mehling) Wagner. Married to Marjorie Schmidt on April 28, 1960 in Holy Family Catholic Church in Jasper. Ralph Wagner retired from the Jasper Cabinet Company where he had worked for 35 years. He also served in the Indiana National Guard. He is a member of Holy Family Catholic Church – American Legion Post # 147 and the 40 and 8 and the Jasper Moose Club. Surviving, Wife, Marjorie Wagner 3 daughters, Mrs. Gerald (Carol) Medlock, Bedford, IN Donna Wagner, Princeton, IN Sharon Wagner, Jasper, IN 3 sons, Jeff Wagner, Jerry Wagner both of Jasper, IN Ronald Wagner, Salem, IN 5 grandchildren, Matthew and Jennifer Medlock, Justin, Dylan and Connor Wagner. 3 step-grandchildren, Wayne, Terry and Max Medlock. 2 brothers, Erwin Wagner and spouse Jorean, Ferdinand, In Walter Wagner, Santa Claus, IN 1 Sister, Mrs. Edgar (Ardella) Kersteins, Ferdinand, IN Preceding him in death is 1 grandson, Tyler Wagner and daughter-in-law, Rhonda (Helftner) Wagner. Also 1 brother, Raymond Wagner who died in infancy. Funeral services for Ralph Wagner will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday (May 25, 2010) in Holy Family Catholic Church with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper. American Legion Post # 147 will conduct military grave side rites. Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Monday (May 24, 2010) at the Becher & Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper. Memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. by the Jasper Moose Club and the 40 & 8 at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in the name of his children and grandchildren.
