Wes was born in Ireland, Indiana, on March 15, 1936 to Daniel and Marie (Wehr) Rohleder. He married Linda Sermersheim on May 22, 1957 in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Ireland, Indiana. Wes was a 1954 graduate of Ireland High School. He was the owner of Double-R-Bar in Jasper, and retired from Sternberg's 24 and More. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, where he was an usher, the Jasper K of C, the Jasper Moose, and the Jasper German Club. He enjoyed playing golf and Sheephead, and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals, I.U. Basketball, and Indianapolis Colts fan. Funeral services for Sylvester "Wes" Rohleder will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday (April 10, 2015) at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Jasper, Indiana, with entombment to follow in the Fairview Cemetery Mausoleum in Jasper. Friends may call from 2:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday (April 9, 2015) at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper and one hour before services at the church on Friday. St. Joseph’s Catholic Church will pray a rosary at 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home. The Jasper Moose will hold a memorial service at 6:00 pm.
