Zehr age 46 of Celestine died at 1:30 a.m. Monday (March 8, 2004) at the Owensboro Mercy Hospital, Owensboro, Kentucky from injuries sustained from an accidental fall at his home. He was born on August 26, 1957 in Jasper, Indiana. His parents were Roger and Virginia Knies Zehr Kapp. He worked for Roger Knies Trucking Company, at Celestine, Indiana. Memberships, St. Peter Celestine Catholic Church – Nas-Car Club of Southern Indiana. Surviving are 2 daughters; Andrea and Ashlee Zehr, both of Jasper, IN. Mother and Step Father, James and Virginia Kapp, Newburgh, IN. 2 sister, Mrs. Brad “Rhonda” Hopf, Jasper, IN Mrs. Doug “Kristy” Messmer, Olathe, KS Companion, Debra Fisher 1 step brother, Jim Kapp Jr, Newburgh, IN 2 step sisters, Brenda Duncan, Evansville, IN. Lori Riddle,Evansville, IN Preceding him in death are his father Roger Zehr Funeral services for Scott A Zehr will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday (March 11, 2004) in St. Peter Celestine Catholic Church with burial to follow in St. Peter Celestine Cemetery. Friends may call from Noon – 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Becher – Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper. Prayer Vigil will be held at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday by members of St. Peter Celestine Parish.
