www.becherkluesner.com Becherkluesner@insightbb.com 812-482-4141 Dateline Dubois, IN Roy Zehr, age 59 of Dubois IN, passed away at 9:05 a.m. Thursday (July 17 2014) at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Center in Jasper, IN Roy was born on June 20, 1955 in Jasper, Indiana to Leonard and Betty (Meyer) Zehr. Roy had worked for Leitz Tooling Systems in Jasper for many years. He was a member of St. Peter’s United Church of Christ in Dubois, where he served on the church council. He was member of the National Rifle Association. He had previously served on the Dubois Fire Department, and was a past member of the Dubois Community Club. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, cooking, and spending time on the White River. Surviving, Two Step-Daughters; Angie Moffitt and her husband David, Crystal, IN Christina Hudson, Florida Three Sisters; Sandra Kluesner, Jasper, IN Kimberly Goodman and her husband Ted, Celestine, IN Peggy Freiberger and her husband David, Greenville, IN Two Nieces; Jennifer Titzer, Evansville, IN Keri Johnson, Jeffersonville, IN Two Nephews; Jeffrey Kluesner, Dubois,IN Adam Oxley, New Albany, IN Great Nieces and Nephews Preceding Roy in death was one son, Jeremy Zehr, and his parents. Funeral services for Roy Zehr will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday (July 21, 2014) at St. Peter’s United Church of Christ in Dubois, IN, with burial to follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery in Dubois. The Rev. John Sterrett will officiate. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until the 1:00pm Service time on Monday, (July 21, 2014) at St. Peter’s United Church of Christ in Dubois, IN.
