Beck, age 82 of Jasper died at 3:40 a.m. Tuesday (January 25, 2011) at Brookside Health Care in Jasper. She was born October 6, 1928 at Celestine to Anthony and Mary (Buechler) Humbert. She married Arnold L. Beck on August 19, 1948 he preceded her in death on February 6, 2007. She formerly owned and operated the Beck’s Mobile Home Court in Jasper for many years. She is a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church - St. Ann’s Society. Other memberships include lifetime member of Jasper Outdoor Recreation Club and Jasper Moose Lodge #1175 and St. Anthony Community Center. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards , quilting and an avid Cardinal Baseball Fan loved attending grandchildren and great grandchildren sports events. Surviving, 4 daughters, Mrs. Bob (Linda) Wehr, Jasper, IN Mrs. Dennis (Debbie) Frieler, Jasper, IN Mrs. Ken (Sandy) Willis, Danville, IN Mrs. Gene (Beverly) Tonnies, Sellersburg, IN 3 sons, Alan Beck and his spouse Pamela, Gary Beck and his spouse Wanda Gregory Beck and his spouse Debra all of Jasper, IN 18 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren Preceding her in death besides her husband is 1 brother Lawrence Humbert. Funeral services for Rose Beck will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday (January 28, 2011) in St. Joseph Catholic Church with entombment to follow in Fairview Cemetery Mausoleum in Jasper. Friends may call from 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Becher & Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper. Rosary at 3:00 p.m. Thursday by the St. Ann’s Society , Memorial service at 6:30 p.m. by the Women of Moose. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or to a favorite charity.
