He was born at Siberia, Indiana on June 6, 1913. Parents; Pete and Louise (Gerhart) Temple. He married Genevieve “Jenny” Schuler on September 5, 1938. He was a retired Farmer in the Ireland Community. Surviving are his wife Jenny. 2 sons; Myron and Duane Temple, both of Ireland, IN 2 daughters; Mrs. Bob “Shirley” Hoffman, Schnellville, IN Mrs. Leroy “Kathy” Witte, Ireland, IN 1 brother; Carl “Bud” Temple, Cincinnati, OH 4 sisters; Gertie Brecht, Marie Guth, Roselyn Paul and Olivia Graman all of Cincinnati, OH 11 grandchildren 17 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by 1 daughter; Mary Louise Temple who died in infancy. 1 grandson; Kurt Witte and 2 brothers; Vic and Bob Temple. Friends may call from 2 - 8 p.m. Monday at the Becher - Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper. Funeral services for Oscar Temple will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday (October 14, 2003) in St. Mary’s Catholic Church with burial to follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Ireland, IN.
