Johnson, 19 of Coffeen, Illinois, formerly of Huntingburg, died at 2: a.m. Tuesday, December 25, 2001, in Vandalia, Illinois in an auto accident. He was born May 30, 2982, in Jasper to Charles N. Johnson and Lori (Schafer) Lyons. He graduated in 2000 from Southridge High School in Huntingburg and in 2001 from Lincoln Technical Institute of Atuo and Diesel Mechanics. Survivors include his mother, Lori Lyons of Evanston and her fiance, Joey Hurst; his father, Charles N. Johnson of Huntingburg; his fiance, Chrissy Schroedter of Coffeen, Illinois and Chrissy’s son, Camden, at home; one brother, Christopher C. Johonson of Huntingburg; one sister, Lauren S. Lyons of Evanston; his maternal grandfather and step grandmother, Harold and Scherry Schafer of Boonville; his maternal grandmother, Karen Tierney of Selvin; his paternal grandparents, Mary and Sonny Johnson of Huntingburg; and his great grandparents, Willie and Dolena Schafer and Stella Heidorn, all of Jasper. Services for Nathan Johnson will be held at 11: a.m. EST Saturday, December 29, 2001 at Nass and Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial in Fairmount Cemetery in Huntingburg.
