She was born in Jasper on April 2, 1918 to Philip and Bertha (Schmidt) Werner. She married Wilfred C. Beyke on September 27, 1938 – He preceded her in death on September 13, 2000. Marcella was a homemaker and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church – Daughters of Isabella – Original Extension Homemakers Club – V.F.W. Auxiliary to Post # 673 in Jasper. Surviving, Two daughters, Susan Mendel Mrs. Charles (LaVerne) Weisman, Jasper, IN Three sons, Kenneth P. Beyke and spouse Nancy Richard C . Beyke and spouse Rose, Winslow, IN Glenn W. Beyke , Kennesaw, GA 12 grandchildren 15 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Preceding her in death besides her husband is one daughter, Marilyn Kendall. One brother, Wilbert Werner. Funeral services for Marcella Beyke will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday (July 30, 2011) in St. Joseph Catholic Church with entombment in Fairview Cemetery Mausoleum. Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Friday at the Becher & Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper. Memorial contributions may be made to the Marilyn Kendall Scholarship Fund.
