Becher - Kluesner Funeral Home, Inc. FAX 812-482-1193 Dateline Jasper, Indiana Lillian Wilz age 99 of Jasper died at 4:40 p.m. Monday (May 23, 2005) in the St. Charles Health Campus in Jasper. She was born on February 18, 1906 to William and Bertha (Kaiser) Neuhoff. She married Matthew Wilz on June 3, 1924, he preceded her in death on December 8, 1958. Lillian Wilz was a charter member of Precious Blood Catholic Church and the Ladies Sodality of Precious Blood Parish. Surviving are 2 daughters, Mrs. Cletus “Evelyn Toots” Hopf, Mrs. Elmer “Dorothy Sis” Bleemel, both of Jasper, IN 4 grandchildren, Sandy, Becky, Jane and Ann and 7 great grandchildren, Jennifer, Janelle, Dustin and Dylan, Kirsten, Kaylyn and Jimmy. 2 sisters, Agnes Reynolds, Brownsburg, IN Leona Pucke, Cincinnati, OH 2 half - brothers, Harold Neuhoff, Huntingburg, IN Fredrick “Fitz” Neuhoff, Iowa 1 half sister, Ruth Werder, Huntingburg, IN Preceding her in death besides her husband are 1 grandson Jimmy her twin brother William Neuhoff and other brothers Elmer, Carl, Albert and Edward Neuhoff. sisters; Anna Messmer, Gertrude Stenftenagel, Katherine Burger,Marie Mendel and Irene Rhodes another sister died in infancy. Funeral services for Lillian Wilz will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday (May 27, 2005 in Precious Blood Catholic Church with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper. Friends may call from 2 - 8 p.m. Thursday at the Becher - Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper. Rosary at 3:00 p.m. Thursday by members of Precious Blood Parish and the Ladies Sodality of Precious Blood Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Precious Blood Catholic Church.
