Morton age 33 of Jasper, Indiana died from injuries sustained in a one car accident on Monday evening (May 3, 2004) near Jasper. He was born on July 2, 1970 in Jasper, Indiana. His parents are Darryl and Tanna Stewart Morton. He loved music and was a D.J. at Shooters in Jasper and was an avid bowler and past president of the Monday Night Bowling League. He worked at the Heritage House of Jasper . Memberships, St. Joseph Catholic Church - Jasper Moose Lodge - Member of Jasper High School Class of 1988. Surviving are his parents, Darryl and Tanna Morton. 1 sister, Mrs. Rick “Kris” Kocken, Lafayette, In 1 niece, 2 nephews, Aunts, Uncles & Cousins. Funeral services for Kurt Morton will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday (May 7, 2004) in St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper. Friends may call from 2 – 8 p.m. Thursday at the Becher – Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper. Prayer Vigil will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday by JHS Class of 88 and members of St. Joseph’s Parish. Memorial service at 7:30 p.m. Thursday by the Jasper Moose Lodge. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
