He was born at Jasper on January 4, 1943 to Roman and Stella (Henke) Hopf. He married Rose Fehribach on April 18, 1963 in Holy Family Catholic Church in Jasper. Surviving, Wife, Rose 4 daughters, Mrs. Steve (Brenda) Kissel, Winslow, IN Mrs. John (Connie) Goebel, Jasper, IN Mrs. Lou (Sharon) Fort, Otwell, IN Mrs. Richard (Patty) Schwartz, St. Henry, IN 3 sons, Kerry Hopf, Otwell, IN David Hopf and Spouse Teresa, Dubois, IN Roger Hopf and spouse Tracy, Jasper, IN 23 grandchildren 5 sisters, Mrs. Rich (Mary Jane) Wagner, St. Anthony, IN Joan Braunecker, Jasper, IN Mrs. Gene (Patricia) Fleck, Bretzville, IN Mrs. Dennis (Kathleen) Hasslere, Terre Haute, IN Mrs. Dan (Martha) Blackburn, Evansville, IN Preceding him in death is a granddaughter Payton Hopf. Kenneth Hopf was a Coal Miner and Farmer in the Otwell Community and a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Ireland also did horse training. Funeral services for Kenneth Hopf will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday (August 18, 2009) in St. Mary Catholic Church with burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery in Ireland. Friends may call from 3-8 p.m. Monday (August 17, 2009)at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper. Memorial contributions may be made to Freedom Reins or to St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
