She was born on October 10, 1918 at Boone Township, Indiana to Leonard and Anna (Meyer) Sendelweck. Married to Linus W. Mann on June 30, 1940, he preceded her in death on December 1, 2002. Eva Mae was a homemaker and member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Boone Township and WELCA of St. John’s Church. She also held and served on Committees in the church. Member of the Dubois County Farm Bureau and served on varius Womens Committees. Surviving are 3 sons, John W. Mann Linus E. Mann and Daniel E. Mann all of Boone township. 4 grandchildren and 1 great grand child. 1 sister, Eline Schnarr, Boone Township, IN Preceding her in death besides her husband are 1 son, David Mann died in infancy. 3 sisters, Hilda Wening, Cleda Breidenbaugh, and Martha Wening also 2 brothers, Karl Sendelweck died in infancy and George Sendelweck. Funeral services for Eva Mae Mann will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday (September 9, 2004) in St. John’s Lutheran Church in Boone Township with burial to follow in St. John’s Cemetery. The Rev. James Culver Jr. will officiate. Friends may call from 2 - 8 p.m. (September 8, 2004) at the Becher - Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper and one hour before services at St. John’s Boone Township. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church or to RedBud Cabin Committee , Lutheran Hills Church Camp.
