Vollmer age 30 passed away Thursday September 4, 2003 at Jasper Memorial Hospital Emergency Room as the result of a logging accident near Ireland. He was born May 6, 1973 in Huntingburg to: Edward and Kathy (Schroering) Vollmer. He married Trisha Frette August 17, 2002. He was a Logger for the Werner Saw Mill in Ireland. He loved horse back riding and farming. Memberships include: the Ireland K od C, St. Mary Catholic Church in Ireland, and Loggers Association, he was a graduate of the JHS Class of 1991. Surviving: his wife Trisha Vollmer of Washington IN. 1 Step daughter-Brooklyn at home. Parents-Ed and Kathy Vollmer of Ireland. 2 sisters-Mrs. Tony (Denise) Buechler of Celestine, and Lacey Vollmer of Ireland. Maternal Grandmother-Bernadette Schroering of Jasper Paternal Grandmother-Virginia Vollmer of Jasper 1 nephew-Trevor Buechler of Celestine. Preceded in death by his 2 grandfathers- Cyril Schroering and Maurice Vollmer 1 uncle-Michael Schroering Visitation will be held from 12:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday at the Becher & Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday September 8, 2003 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Ireland with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
