He was born April 20, 1929 in Petersburg In. to: Sylvester and Marie (Colvin) Johnson. He married Mary Moy August 9, 1997. He was Park Superintendant for the Knox County Park and Rec.-Retired. He was a Korean War Veteran serving in the Army and he was a member of the 1st Presbyterian Church in Jasper. Surviving: his wife-Mary Johnson of Jasper. 3 sons-Terry Johnson of Vincennes, Tom Moy of Jasper, and Paul Moy of Milwaukee WI. 5 daughters-Mrs. John (Miriam) Sermersheim of Jasper, Dr. Mary Van Hoy of Greenwood IN., Mrs. Randy (Rebecca) Falkenberg of Atlanta GA., and Mrs. Larry (Denise) Capehart of Vincennes. 11 Grandchildren 1 Great Granddaughter Preceded in death by his first wife-Marilyn Johnson, 1 brother-Sylvester Johnson Jr., 2 sisters-Frances Morning, and Bonnie Wampler. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Becher & Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the 1st Presbyterian Church in Jasper with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery.
